Chartering a sailing boat in Phuket

I am planning a trip to Phuket. I am looking at chartering a sailing boat for 8 to 10 people, with 1 to 2 crew. Can you provide some recommendations. That would be handy. Thanks, Rog.

I was trying to remember the name of a charter company my family and I used when we were last in Phuket, but can't quite remember the name. I am pretty sure it was Asia Marine (http://www.asia-marine.net/index.html). We didn't hire a crew because my Uncle is experienced enough to manage the boat, so we did a bareboat charter. I remember how easy the process was, the boat was fuelled and everything ready to go by the time we got there for our trip.

I must say I am a little jealous, I want to go!

Phuket is definitely a nice place to visit now: especially sailing and diving there, a lot of marina life to see and should bring you a lot of fun: Price is also not so expensive compare to other parts in Asia.

I personally love to visit Phuket in May or June.
