Surfing IndoChina

Going on holiday away from Hong Kong in the next couple of weeks and was wondering what the options for surfing are in the surrounding countries (excluding Bali, Java etc.) Is it all going to be slack windchop at this time of year or will some places be looking good? Cheers Henry

A friend of mine has been trying to convince me to go to Kho Samui inside the Gulf of Thailand. The peak season is just getting started October to November. Another bonus, rentals are inexpensive and easy to find.
